Islamabad: Nayatel and Huawei recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a continued strategic partnership at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad. Both companies renewed their commitment to keep pushing the boundaries of technological innovation in the future and further strengthen the bond of trust and friendship.
Managing Director Huawei EBG, Mr. Gao Weijie, complimented the strong bond of friendship Nayatel and Huawei have shared over the last 10 years and announced a specially crafted coin to commemorate the occasion for the attending guests.
In his address, Mr. Aqeel Khurshid, CTO Nayatel said “Huawei and Nayatel have built a great relationship around our mutual interests, innovative vision and customer centric values. These common attributes have helped us develop a bond that stood the test of time.”
COO Nayatel, Mr. Saad Saleem stated “Working with Huawei has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Nayatel was founded on the principles of quality, passion and the desire to serve – values that resonated with those of Huawei. We always felt comfortable working with a Chinese company and achieved many milestones, and will continue to achieve more together.”

A cake-cutting ceremony was undertaken by Mr. Gao Weijie (Managing Director EBG), Mr. Pan Feng (new Managing Director EBG), Mr. Shahzad Rasheed (CEO Cloud) and Mr. Faran Humayun (Director ISP) were joined by Mr. Rashid Ali Khan (Nayatel board member), Mr. Wahaj Siraj (CEO Nayatel), Mr. Khawaja Saad Saleem (COO Nayatel) and Mr. Aqeel Khurshid (CTO Nayatel). The guests enjoyed a video showcasing the milestones achieved by both companies in the past decade and commemorative shields were distributed to guests from both parties.
